Kagune: Akane's Kagune is located in the uppermost part of his back, weighing 25 kilograms and being twice Akane's height, however they do fold to be as compact as possible. His Kagune takes the shape of eight spider-like legs that emerge from between the upper part of his shoulder blades. They take a deep-red coloration. The Kagune is mainly used for greatly increasing agility by leaping and sprinting, as well as manoeuvring over and around obstacles. Any of the legs can be destroyed by any sort of simple blade or gunshot, let alone another ghoul's Kagune, but they do eventually re-grow completely after around fifteen minutes. The legs not only greatly increase his agility, but also double as web-slingers. Only top two arms can produce web from the tips, but this ability still makes for great amounts of fun traversing the cityscape.
