Minor business

It was late at night, the Seventh Ward almost empty with all the people who worked here during the day having left the area, once their work for today was done. For Shiri, however, work time had just begun, though today would be a rather easy job, just eradicating a small group of teenagers that had recently taken to lingering around one of the 24th Ward's exits, not knowing what it was, thus blocking the way.

15 minutes since I left the office, 75% of the route to the target covered, ETA 5 minutes. I'm well on time, good.

She had been tasked to take care of the matter, as it was a tad too risky for anyone to simply kill them off without a plan. The reason she had chosen was her effectivity alongside with her reliability until now, seeing that this wasn't the first mission she had taken for the greater good.

Destination reached, targets spotted. Enemy count, 5, all male, ages roughly between 16 and 18, no weapons visible. Low Threat, surprise tactics or lure tactics will be most effective. Let's observe them for a moment...

Though Shiri had been given details on the five boys in front of her, she always took her time to affirm the intel she got on site, to prevent herself from falling into a trap. The boys were dressed in similar clothing, every single one donning baggy jeans, flubby T-shirts and Hoodies, the cape's pulled into their faces, occasionally taking a puff from what seemed like a cigarette, though she assumed that the smoking thing wasn't that harmless, especially if she took the bottles of alcohol scattered around the group into consideration. However, this also meant that her targets were probably intoxicated. The upside was, that that would make her job easier, the downside that they would taste horrible. She continued to observe their behaviour, trying to figure out if her assumption was correct, hiding behind a concrete pillar about 30 feet away from them, her body clad in entirely black clothes, warmed by a same-colored coat, hiding her face behind her demonic mask.

Nikuya had been watching for a while before deciding to approach the young ghoul woman. He eased his way to the pillar and leaned over, whispering with an easy-going grin "So I couldn't help but notice you noticing them, while I noticed you." He cocks his head in a friendly matter "So are you the chick they sent to deal with all the guys by the twenty-fourth? Kinda young, aren't you?"

Shiri didn't even bother to take her eyes of her targets, focusing on the mission, recognizing what the guy who just approached her said, showing no emotion in response, her tone cold. "I'm nineteen. And yes, I'm here to deal with them."

The drunk teens didn't notice them in the slightest, behaving more like the animals they were to Shiri than actual humans, making Shiri decide to go with a surprise strike.
"You're not here to make problems for me, are you?" She asked, her tone still cold, while she took off her coat, revealing a black, backless tanktop. Backless, because she didn't want to ruin her clothes every time she used her Kagune, which showed itself now, while she lowered herself for a crouching start.

Nikuya almost snorted, holding back a scoff "Cause trouble? Stopping you from killing those idiots? You're funny. Have at it as far as I'm concerned."
He gulped a little when she began undressing. Well, heeello...
He shook his head a bit, trying to clear his head.
"So, uh, do you live in this ward? Or are you more of a contractor type deal?"

Shiri didn't wait long enough to answer the dude's questions, launching herself forward, shaping the tip of her night-colored Kagune into blades, covering the distance between her and the five guys in a matter of seconds. Once she was well in reach, the four bladed organs jerked themselves forward, penetrating the lung of each teeanger, lifting all five of them up into air.
All five, because one of them had been lucky enough to stand in front of his buddy, passing him the "cigarette", which was now lying on the ground, extinguished by dripping blood.

Shiri turned around to her company, still holding the five boys up on her Kagune, who hadn't seen it coming, dying before knowing that they were about to die, all because they had been at the wrong place for too long.
Blood was dripping onto one of Shiri's cheeks, though she didn't seemed to be bothered by that, her ice-blue eyes a cold stare of someone who had finished their mission. "Sorry, what was your question?"

Nikuya kind of gaped for about a solid half-minute before responding. Am I that fast? Never thought to try and find out.
"Oh y'know, something or other about where you live."

Trish slowly brushed the hair from her face as she crinkled her nose as the smell of fresh blood wafted on the wind towards her. "Damnable ghouls again..." she muttered to herself as the most logical conclusion for the stench popped into her head. Her boots began to make a soft sounding trod as she began to follow the deplorable stench with a small grin etched to the corner of her mouth. "Today of all days... but maybe I'll find the beast that killed you..." she whispers under her breath as a hand lifted itself to caress the amulet that hung about her neck.

Shiri, still upholding the five corpses, lowered one of them to the height of her face, un-donning her mask, revealing her face, then taking a bite from the guys neck as if he were some kind of candy cotton. After swallowing the flesh, she frowned. She had been right, he tasted awful. "Me? I live in around here, the Seventh. Why do you ask? Oh and could you pass me the plastic bags in my coats' pocket? Or rather, maybe help me with wrapping them up? I don't want to linger around longer than I need to."

Nikuya cringed a bit "Help you? I'm more of a do-it-yourself kinda guy. Also, I don't like touching other people's food." He added sheepishly. "Just hurry up, the doves patrol this place pretty often."

As Trish walked further towards the strengthening stench she smiled as she spotted what appeared to be a man and a female ghoul, easily spotted by the hanging corpses, before it turned into a scowl. If the man wasn't dead yet then a he was one as well, which would complicate things greatly. Stopping many yards away Trish stopped and placed her hand on her hip and cocked them slightly "Hello, might I ask that you cease such deplorable actions and die?" Her head slanted to the side as she asked her question which shifted her long silver white hair to hang down

Shiri was just about to reply something, when she noticed someone approaching, immediately re-donning her mask and rushing to her coat, grabbing it, her Kagune curling around the dead bodies. She, however, noticed that she couldn't use the 24th to escape, as the enemy would discover the entrance. And fleeing would mean that she would have to leave her meal. Both were not acceptable. And there was also the other dude, though she wasn't sure if he'd be a help in the upcoming fight.
She placed herseld next to him and let the bodies and coat drop for now, rearranging her Kagune into facing the woman who has just appeared, getting into a battle-stance.

Nikuya smiled. Not the smile of a flirtatious boy, stuck in an alley with a girl; this was the smile of the Butcher.

This was where he was most comfortable, facing an opponent with the kind of tunnel-vision only a psychopath can muster.

Not talking to some girl while she picked off a few human punks. Facing the real enemy.

Beat-beat. Beat-beat.

A wet tearing sound burbled forth as three kagune tendrils pulled their way from The Butcher's back. He shifted his feet out, gripping the ground "Evening inspector. I'm afraid I'll have to decline your request, what with the physical impossibility of self determinate expiration and all."

"Well now, that is a surprise, two in fact. One in that matter that you can actually speak civilly and second that you had to go ruin my other wise good day with your foul existence and inability to go of and die." Her tone was both condescending and laced with an anger that lashed out like a flame. Trish's hand came to her side to grip the sword hilt that was placed there and at her touch it activated through her signal becoming a large bladed organic looking mess of a sword "I suppose I'll have to test the your limits against mine then." she spoke again as she took a stance with balanced weight and seemed ready any sort of real offense.

Shiri was quite relieved at her companion standing by her side, giving them the advantage in numbers. She put some strength into her legs, readying herself for an attack. She still took the time to inform the guy of her plans in a low voice. "Two on one, I'll go for her left, you take the right, that way we'll score at least one hit. Now!" She didn't wait for a response, catapulting herself forward, two of her bladed tentacles shielding her from eventual strikes, while the other two placed themselves abover her head, preparing to strike at the enemy from diagonally above.

Nikuya leapt forward, bouncing against the wall and towards the dove from her upper right, lending him the advantage of gravity. His kagune pointed down towards Trish, turning him into more or less of a top. She would have to move, as the angle of his attack prevented her from blocking all his attacks. "That's funny!" He shouts "Cause I don't have any limits!"

Trish smiled and raised her eyebrows before jumping backwards, putting herself out the range of the targeted jumps, before gripping her hilt tightly and set her feet before spinning herself and releasing the blade from its confines as it shot out, spinning with her own force, as the blade aimed at the midsections of both the airborne adversaries. "Jumps are great for surprises but they fail in frontal assaults because you can't dodge in the AIR!" she screamed the last word

Shiri's eyes went wide when she realized her obvious mistake, her surprise well hidden behind the mask. She quickly shot two of her kagune into the ground, anchoring them and pulling herself backwards and downwards at the same time, while shielding herself from the incoming strike with the other two weaponized organs. "SHIT! What the FUCK am I DOING! Close call! FOCUS!" She hopped back a few feet more, rethinking her strategy.
